Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of the PDFClick application and website. By downloading, installing, or purchasing PDFClick, you agree to them.
1. The product
PDFClick is a Windows 10 and 11 desktop utility that compresses PDF files locally on your computer. It is offered as a free tier for single-file compression and as a paid "Pro" tier that unlocks additional features such as batch compression, compression-level control, and compress-to-target-size.
2. License
Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use PDFClick. A Pro license is a one-time purchase and may be activated on up to three (3) computers that you own or control. The Free tier may be used at no cost.
3. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the software or your license key.
- Share your license key publicly or with people outside your permitted device count.
- Attempt to circumvent the licensing system or reverse engineer the software except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
4. Purchase and payment
Pro is a one-time payment (no subscription). Payments are processed by our authorized payment provider acting as Merchant of Record, which is the seller of record for your transaction and may add applicable taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. After purchase you receive a license key by email.
5. Updates
Your Pro purchase includes free updates within the version you buy. Future major versions may be offered separately.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
7. Your files and backups
PDFClick modifies PDF files to make them smaller. While it is designed never to corrupt your documents, you are responsible for keeping copies of important files. We recommend retaining originals of anything critical before compressing.
8. Warranty disclaimer
PDFClick is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or meet every requirement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFClick and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss, arising from your use of the software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
10. Termination
This license remains in effect until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms. Upon termination you must stop using and remove the software.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Matters relating to payment processing are additionally subject to the terms of our Merchant of Record.
